Luster is a series of Luster Smart Efects Group that creates amusing and lively spaces with mother-of-pearl, velvet pattern, bright appearance, pure acrylic based. Thanks to its pearlescent structure, Luster, which offers a semi-gloss and matt velvety special appearance like pearls, allows different pattern applications. It does not harm human health and the environment with its water-based structure. It can be applied on the old painted surfaces with ground preparation can be applied on interior surfaces such as concrete, gypsum, black plaster, cement board, glass textile and paintable wallpaper.

Ground Preparation:

• The surface to be applied should be cleaned of all kinds of dust, dirt and oil, swollen old paint should be thoroughly scraped, a clean, dry and solid surface should be obtained.

 

• If the surface is not flat, a smooth and smooth surface should be obtained with Smart Internal Acrylic Paste in order to apply Silkomat.

 

• If the surface to be applied is smoothed with gypsum plaster, before applying Silkomatt, Smart İzolac should be used on the surface, Smart Universal Primer should be used on plain but old painted, dirty or synthetically painted surfaces, and Smart Putty Primer should be used on putty applied surfaces.

 

• The same color Silkomat is applied as a single coat to the lining intent.

 

Application:

• The surface to be applied must be purified from all kinds of dust, dirt and oil. A clean, dry and solid surface should be obtained after light sanding all of the embossed and old painted surfaces.

 

• If necessary, defects and cracks on the surface should be repaired with Smart Internal Acrylic Putty.

 

• If the surface to be applied is leveled with gypsum plaster, before applying Slkomatt, Smart İzolac should be used on the surface, Smart Universal Primer on old painted, dirty or synthetic painted surfaces, and Smart Putty Primer on the paste applied surfaces. Silkomatt is applied in a single layer in Luster color.

 

• Luster is applied to the surface with the help of a roller. The pattern is given to the product in a circular motion with the help of a special trowel before it completely dries on the surface.

 

• The surface is left to dry for 4-6 hours depending on the weather conditions. After the first coat is dried, the second coat is applied with a Luster decorative trowel or roller to form a thin layer on the surface.

 

• After the application, the pattern is applied in circular motions with the help of a special trowel without waiting for the surface to dry. After the application, the tools should be cleaned with water immediately.

 

• The paint should be mixed until it becomes completely homogeneous before use. Ambient and surface temperature should be between + 5ºC and + 35ºC during the application and drying period.

 

• If application is to be made on very shiny and glassy surfaces, a solid surface should be formed by sanding the surface first to ensure better adhesion. After the application, the surface is applied in a circular motion with the help of a special trowel, without waiting for the surface to dry. After the application, the tools should be cleaned with water immediately.

Caution: –

• S2: Keep out of the reach of children.
• S24 / 25: Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
• S46: If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately; show the container or label.
• Store the product in a tightly closed container.
• Do not pour into the sewer.

 

Storage: It can be stored for at least 1 year in a cool, clean and dry environment without exposure to direct sunlight and opening of the product container.
